Birth Package

Once you have booked me as your doula I will usually visit you at least twice before you reach 38 weeks, to discuss your requirements, expectations and birth preferences. These antenatal visits usually last approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours. From 38 weeks I will then be on call 24 hour/ 7 days a week , until you go into labour (this can be up to 5 weeks). Once you are in labour I will come to you, either at home or in hospital, and stay with you until you give birth and I am happy to go into theatre with you should you need/chose a c-section. I only leave once you and your baby are settled and you are happy for me to go. I revisit you about a week later to discuss how the birth went.

Postnatal Package

This can begin within a week of giving birth, or once you alone with the baby, i.e. when your partner returns to work or your family goes home. I visit at pre arranged times to help you with your new baby, other children, cooking, light housework, minding the baby while you have a sleep/bath etc. Visits are for a minimum of 3 hours duration and can continue for as many weeks/months as you need.

Payment may be made by cash or bank transfer

I am based on the Wiltshire, Gloucestershire border and cover all surrounding areas.
